This service is the result of collaboration between the NHS and Trustis to provide an NHS-friendly SSL Server Certificate provisioning service. The objective was to make a normally difficult process as simple as possible yet ensure that NHS organisations were able to buy high quality SSL Certificates at a reasonable price. The service has now been successfully running for a number of years.
Trustis Healthcare SSL Certificates meet the very high standards demanded by the NHS and are easy to acquire if you are a registered NHS organisation. NHS personnel vet all SSL Certificate applications and once approved, the process of acquiring a certificate is simple and quick. Furthermore, you don't need to pay online because we will invoice your organisation after you have acquired your certificate*.
Like all of Trustis Certificate Services, NHS Healthcare SSL Certificates are manufactured at the Trustis tScheme Approved, WebTrust Certified, ISO 27001 Accredited, high security facility.
To use this service, you must be registered with the NHS Address Registration Service. If you are not registered, please email us at nhs-ssl@trustis.com
To apply you will require your NHS Organisation Code and a Purchase Order Number. Once you have these items you can apply online by simply clicking on the button at the bottom of this page.

Example - An organisation hosting a single domain name but with different sub domains:

www.newtown-hostpital.nhs.uk
staff.newtown-hospital.nhs.uk
